Announcing A History of Lost Things vol. II

It's been a year since the first issue of A History of Lost Things was released, and the response was so incredibly wonderful that we've decided it's time to create a second issue. We're also hoping to offer a limited number of printed copies this time around!

We hope to have this issue out by mid-December or January at the latest.

The whole gang is back except for Elina, (and V) who is busy charting the distances between lighthouses in the Baltic Sea. Due to her absence, we've decided to ask for submissions. The amount we'll include depends on the quality of the work we receive. Our theme is Winter, so please use that as inspiration. Each entry must fit within a 4.25 x 5.5 page--which is a piece of standard US letter paper folded in half. For those outside the US, please make sure your submissions are the right size, as A4 paper is slightly different, and will not fit the dimensions when folded in half. You may submit up to three pages. They can either be single entry pieces or up to three pages of linked content. We're looking for any number of contributions: writings, collages, drawings, The Amazing Criswell-esque predictions, favorite cold-weather recipes, etc, etc. Just be creative! And if your contribution is chosen, we'll send you a copy of the printed zine as a thank you.
If you're interested in submitting work to be included in A History of Lost Things vol. II, following the theme of Winter, please email the following to bearsandbones@gmail.com:
  • your submission as a high-quality .jpg or pdf attachment
  • your name and tumblr name (if applicable)
  • the best way to contact you

We ask that all submissions are in by Friday, November 16.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to email questions to the same address above, or message me on tumblr.
